Chilli Heated Waistcoat - Gentlemen's sizing
Chilli Heated Waistcoat - Gentlemen's sizing

The Chilli waistcoat has been assembled using high specification materials - a coated nylon outer, a two-way zip, two layers of breathable thermal insulation and a soft nylon lining.

Great care has been taken to ensure the Chilli waistcoat is completely safe to use.
The heating elements in the garment are sandwiched between layers of thermal insulating material to give a uniform spread of heat over the entire warming area - so there are no hot spots that might otherwise cause discomfort.

Even when wet, the Chilli waistcoat remains completely safe to wear.

The Chilli waistcoat is fully machine washable

Infinitely variable heat adjustment from 0 to 100%

The Unique Chilli Control unit

Unlike simple bi-metallic thermostats that are affected by ambient temperatures, our controller supplies a full range of consistent heat delivery in all weather conditions. The controller is fully variable from off to full power and anywhere in between, providing maximum comfort control. It is completely waterproof and can be conveniently mounted within view. And, an LED light allows monitoring of the heat setting - even at night.

The Chilli Control is reverse polarity protected

The Chilli Control is over voltage/over current protected

Basic Wiring Diagram

This shows the basic wiring setup, when using the standard Straight Power Lead.
The power lead is permanently connected to the battery, the free end then plugging into the input side of the Control.

When using the coiled Power Lead, nothing is connected to the battery as the Coiled Lead is plugged into the bike's Accessory Socket, the free end then plugging into the input side of the Control.
